Evon Stone Rubenstein, C-IAYT, E-RYT200
Certified Yoga Therapist
Evon turned to yoga when she had health issues western medicine could not fix. After 25 years of a personal yoga practice and working in the corporate world, she decided to do what she loved most and teach yoga. She specifically wanted to help others with health problems. Yoga had worked for her and she wanted to share that. The 200 hours of regular teacher training was the prerequisite to get into the Loyola Marymount University (LMU) Yoga Therapy program.
As a graduate of LMU, Evon was able to work as a Yoga Therapist with those she wanted to help most. Since then, she has led workshops in Chronic Pain Management, Women’s Health Issues as well as several clinics dealing with Neck, Lower Back and Migraine problems. At the Community Memorial Hospital Cancer Resource Center, she worked with cancer patients before, during and after their treatment.
Evon brings her experience to Kharma Life Center for the Therapeutic Foundations of Yoga Teacher Training, so that now you will be prepared to help people, too.
