Carolyn has a lifelong passion for yoga. She has both a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as a Master's in Public Health from the University of Arizona in Tucson. After earning her degrees and becoming a well-practiced yogini, Carolyn went on to receive her 200-hour Yoga Teacher certification from BBest Yoga Academy in Phoenix, AZ under the direction of Gina Tricamo.
Carolyn has been certified since December 2016 and is registered with the world-recognized Yoga Alliance. Along with her certification, Carolyn specializes in flow Yoga, Alignment-Oriented Yoga, Fitness Yoga, Spiritually-Oriented Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Meditation, and Specialty Yoga including Prenatal Yoga and Yoga for Older Adults.
Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Focusing on your breath during practice is key to staying in tune with your mind and body.
